Recruiter

The Dallas Morning News has an excellent opportunity for a Recruiter in our downtown office.  The individual will meet with department managers/supervisors to discuss workforce needs and implement recruitment strategies upon receipt of personnel requisitions.  They are responsible for candidate sourcing, reviewing and processing applications, creating advertisements, conducting interviews, initiating background checks and preparing offer letters. 

 

We are seeking an individual with:

 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred1-3 years recruiting experience for exempt and non-exempt positionsPrior training in behavior-based interviewing techniquesOutstanding oral and written communication skillsPrior experience working job fairs and sourcing candidates via the Internet  Ability to work in a fast paced environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
