Reporter - Investment Dealers' Digest (IDD)

Investment Dealers’ Digest (IDD), which has been chronicling the action in investment banking and on Wall Street since 1935, is looking for a reporter to cover the capital markets and investment banking arena. Candidates should have at least three years reporting experience, and familiarity with restructuring; bankruptcy experience would be a plus. The position requires producing well-researched copy for both the weekly magazine and IDD’s website on a daily basis. Candidates should possess a relevant college degree (Journalism, English, Business, etc.), strong writing and reporting skills, and must be comfortable dealing with high-level executives at large financial institutions. Cultivating and maintaining plugged-in sources in the financial-services industry is essential, as is the ability to generate forward-looking story ideas.
