Sales Associate - Job Fair Events

The Job Fair Sales Associate will be primarily responsible for the inside sales of exhibit space, job fair sponsorships, and job fair program ads, while providing exceptional on-site customer service at these and other industry-related events. Candidate must enjoy traveling. Travel requirements include attendance at multiple job fair events with brief (1-2 night) stays during the Spring and Fall show seasons.

 

Job ResponsibilitiesInside sales of print advertising, exposition space and sponsorships for all Merion job fair eventsContinuous development of client base through leads from assigned market databases, cold calls, competitive publications, and web researchGrowing a sales territory to meet and exceed annual sales goals for all Merion job fair events  Develop strategic partnerships via written contract proposals with multi-show exhibitors that include booth packages, sponsorships and advertising strategies when applicableBuild and maintain long-term, successful relationships with clients via phone interaction and face-to-face contact at each job fair event.Communicating to and coordinating sales initiatives with recruitment ad sales managers as neededAnalyze, interpret and communicate using financial data, spreadsheets, and competitive materialsAnticipate and effectively solve client-related problemsAssist job fair team with non-sales related projects as time or necessity permitsStrategically plan a daily course of action for maximizing sales and finding potential customers



Job RequirementsCollege degree preferredMinimum of 1 year phone sales experienceExcellent consultative selling skillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsNatural ability to adapt quickly and relate effectively to all personality typesStrong team player
