Sales Associate - Retail Events

The ADVANCE Healthcare Shop travels to various events across the country, such as ADVANCE Job Fairs and other industry conventions and conferences. At these events, you can shop our store—in person—for great merchandise that helps you express the pride and passion (and sense of humor!) you feel about what you do for a living, as well as the professional equipment, uniforms, supplies and tools you need during your daily routines at work.

 

Summary

 

We are seeking a Sales Representative to promote and sell ADVANCE Healthcare Shop events, affiliations and merchandise in both business to business and business to consumer settings. These events will give healthcare professionals the option to buy their scrubs, apparel, accessories, gifts, and much more at work through our traveling retail shows.

 

The sales rep will make contact and build lasting relationships with key facility decision makers with the purpose of growing Healthcare Shop revenues, through three main channels:On-site hospital show events held at the facility, which will allow our events staff to sell a range of Healthcare Shop products. Facility and Healthcare Shop affiliation programs, which offer promotional packages to facilities who recommend their staff purchase from the Healthcare Shop. Attend regional hospital show events to network further with key staff managers and to sell merchandise to hospital staff attending the event.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

· Meet show and affiliation sales goals set for his or her territory

· Deliver effective solution sales oriented telephone presentations with the objective of closing business and making sales

· Maintain complete records of show and affiliation details for each sale and sharing that information with event planning and implementation teams

· Cross-market other ADVANCE products including Custom Promotions, Job Fairs and Recruitment solutions and pass on lead information to the appropriate sales team

 

Job Requirements

 2 – 3 years of sales experienceAbility to work as part of a multi-functional teamLocal travel as neededOvernight travel 1-4 times per year4 year degree preferred
