Sales Coordinator

 

The Sales Support Coordinator will be the US member of a team of four global Sales Support personnel responsible for providing effective back office support to facilitate the Global Sales & operations process for the Global Content Sales organization. This role requires the skill set to work and liaise with a number of departments across the organization in both the UK and US.  The ability to handle multiple projects and tasks is a must, along with the ability to be flexible in roles and responsibilities. Knowledge of CRM systems, MS office programs and internet technology are preferred skill sets

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

·  Co-ordinate all administrative requirements of our US office, liaising regularly with the US sales manager to ensure consistency in support levels

·  Act as a first-point of contact for client inquires, (internal & external), resolving queries where possible and passing relevant information, as required, to associate departments

·  Enforcing the sales/sales support processes, monitoring the activities of the sales team and recommend improvements to further automate and streamline processes

·  Manage the contract process ensuring that obligations to customers are met & verifying completion of client credit check, signed contract process and payment receipt prior to service commencement

·  Ensure all invoicing is accurate and timely, and that along with contractual processes, they are Sarbanes Oxley compliant, liaising with Finance to ensure accurate client invoicing and reporting, resolving any arising invoice discrepancies

·  Administer the progression of inquires/leads in a timely fashion and ensuring quality of data retained in line with the agreed process

·  Maintain sales database and documentation with all relevant information/account/contact history, updating details where necessary, ensuring Data remains consistent is clearly defined.

·  Communicating regularly with the London office to ensure consistency in global operational processes

·  Maintaining data standards, including adherence to Data Protection Act

·  Consistently meet or exceed quota based performance metrics as defined by the VP, Content Sales

·  Adhoc projects, reporting & data analysis as and when required

 

Qualifications:

 

·  1-3 years experience in a sales support role

·  Bachelor’s degree

·  Past experience working with a CRM system

·  Effective telephone and listening skills

·  Ability to prioritize and juggle tasks effectively

·  Ability to act as an intermediary between Account Manager and Client where necessary

·  An effective internal liaison, pulling together people and information to support the sales function

·  Accurate database skills in order to maintain Saleslogix

·  Financial awareness

·  Report writing/Data Analysis skills
