Senior Accounting Clerk (Cash Receipts)

Our Finance Department is seeking a well-organized individual to coordinate the cash activities of the company.

 

ResponsibilitiesPrepare deposits.Prepare journal entrees.Produce daily cash report.Obtain daily cash activities from internal and external sources.Reconcile specified general ledger accounts.Assist other areas of Finance on special projects.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma OR equivalent, plus a minimum 3-5 years’ experience. Must also have experience with various accounting software systems and proficiency in Excel and Word. Requires good verbal and written communication skills in order to interact with various corporate personnel, vendors and external providers. Strong time and situational management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment are essential. Requires strict adherence to deadlines and a willingness to work extended hours as needed. Must be willing to accept additional tasks, duties and/or direction from management. Ability to maintain confidentiality and high professional standards required.
