SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER ' Third Party Interoperability (TPI) productThis position will manage various areas of business integration for educational learning management systems from either Pearson or its business partners. The Product Manager will take responsibility for planning, specifying, and monitoring product development and release such that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as dictated by business, platform and partner needs. Ideal candidate will fully plan and coordinate new projects with scrupulous attention to detail, maintain excellent communication and information flow with internal/external customers, and carefully coordinate with the other functional areas of Pearson's Core Technology Group and Pearson's Business Unit personnel and Pearson business partners as needed. The candidate will be responsible for the successful technical integration of learning application platforms with Pearson's TPI product. He/she will perform technical tasks including training, systems analysis, design reviews, contributions to testing, product installation, and support of complex application solutions that meet client requirements. A key component of the job is integration of multiple platforms utilizing Pearson's TPI technology. The candidate will manage client relationships within the context of the technical development role. The candidate will also provide oversight of the project ensuring requirements are met and quality is delivered both on-time and within budget. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred. This position requires four to six years of experience with software program/product management specifically with products developed, deployed, and supported in a live production environment. This position also requires experience with formal software development processes, understanding of middleware technologies, and exposure to messaging bus or similar architecture.
