Sales/Retail/Business Development Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Location: US-CT-Hartford Job Description Solution Sales Mgr (Transactional Inkjet Printing Sol) - Northeast JOB DESCRIPTION The Solution Sales Manager – Transactional Inkjet Printing Solutions is responsible for maximizing GCG's market share, profitability efficiency and customer satisfaction within a defined geographic territory. Working together with members of the sales organization, the Solution Sales Manager will develop and manage a sales process and pipeline to introduce GCG's portfolio of Systems Products into the transactional marketplace within new and existing accounts. This position is a significant driver of business growth for GCG's Inkjet Printing Solutions portfolio. The territory for this sales role is the Northeast, including New York and some surrounding New England areas. Candidates must be able/willing to travel extensively. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Prospecting, developing prospects, and selling Systems Products into the transactional marketplace (ie: high volume production printing of direct mail, bill and statement) within a defined geographic territory and/or market. Developing strategies, budgets and accurate sales forecasts to execute business plans and deliver on commitments. Understanding and communicating GCG's general product portfolio, product performance and provide feedback to customers on competitive offerings. Developing and delivering sales solutions and customer presentations that result in increased sales by consistently and effectively reinforcing the Company's value proposition and brand identity in refreshing, distinctive and compelling ways. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM 5 years of consultative/solution based selling in a B2B environment within a business solutions or capital products environment. Experience selling transational inkjet printing solutions is preferred. Knowledge of transactional/high volume production print technologies, equipment, and workflow solutions is strongly desired. Must have experience negotiating and closing large transactions and/or contracts ranging from 250K – 1MM. Experience achieving an annual sales quota of 4MM or higher is strongly desired. Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in related field. Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
