Sony PlayStation®: Forecast & Royalty Analyst
Foster City, California Responsibilities:Candidate will be responsible for data integrity for 3rd party software royalty activity and ensures Sarbanes Oxley compliance as required by law. Will assist in 3rd Party reporting & analysis. Data Integrity - reviews monthly and historical data received from DADC, monthly reconciliation with SCEA 3rd party data, reports and resolves any discrepancies with DADC and SCEA Finance. 3rd Party Database - maintains by ensuring accuracy, consistency and proper classification of monthly data needed for reporting/analysis of 3rd party activity, including all 3rd party contractual agreements originated by the 3rd party Account Management team. SOX compliance - updates 3rd party operation process documents, ensures 3rd party software units ordered and per unit royalty rates received from DADC matches existing SCEA 3rd party documents/systems (CWP, Purchase Order, PIMA). 3rd party reporting - assists in 1) monthly actual vs. flash/budget variance analysis, 2) preparation of quarterly forecast reports and 3) GVD/HTR administration and calculations. Updates/maintains various monthly reports and analysis of 3rd party data as needed.
Requirements:Strong data management and analytical skills, detail-oriented. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, knowledge of relational database structure and how to extrapolate, interpret and present data. Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work on projects independently.
Qualifications:Undergraduate degree in business, finance, statistics or math. 2-3 years work experience as a business or marketing analyst. Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of the videogame industry preferred.
