Foster City, California Responsibilities:
Overall, the position of Home, Sr. Business Manager (North America) is expected to partner with the organization to be accountable for business and product management of the Home community, with specific responsibilities as outlined below.

Coordination of all Home activities within SCEA region, including, but not limited to:
Develop revenue opportunities and business models for Home. Work with project management team to integrate Home into PlayStation® Network organization, processes, and policies to ensure smooth daily operations and infrastructure support. Provide direction on development of commercial non-gaming B2B partnerships. Work with Operations project manager to optimize technology opportunities. Work with Third Party Relations to ensure development of gaming partnerships (publishers, retailers). Oversee Home community development and operation (evangelization, grief reporting, creating “stickiness”). Oversee planning and execution of regional events for Home community Manage small team to achieve goals. Set priorities for Home toolset development and work with PSN operations to ensure delivery.

Primary liaison between SCE Home Platform Group and SCEA. Interact closely with:
Home Global Steering Group Global Home Platform Committee Other regional Home leads.

Evangelism of Home within SCEA region. Work with marketing manager to create consumer demand for Home.
Identify and evolve PlayStation®Home brand. Provide input and guidance to marketing communications manager regarding advertising materials. Create presentation materials. Participate in speaking opportunities to evangelize and/or educate internal and external parties.

Qualifications:PEOPLE: Excellent leadership skills - must be able to effectively lead and delegate tasks across a small team of 3-8 people. Must be able to direct and supervise projects to achieve products’ set goals and objectives. Must have strong diplomatic and intrapersonal skills to foster and maintain relationships within SCEA and across the global Home organization. Must have ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information, work well with others and handle a high-pressure environment. Make good, timely decisions in relatively fast-paced situations. ENTREPRENEURIAL: Must have strong entrepreneurial spirit and be execution-oriented. Must be able to develop clear vision for the Home community. Must be able to communicate this vision, build a team capable of accomplishing it, and aggressively seek resources / tools required to execute. Must be self motivated and driven. COMMUNICATION: Strong oral and written communication skills required. Must be articulate and professional, as this position is required to present to several groups internally and externally - including the press. Well-written, thought out plans and briefs are essential. Clear and concise email communication is also important. INDUSTRY: Extensive working experience with online community development and administration a must. Interest in gaming as a hobby preferable, but not required.
