Position Title: Taste of Home Marketing Director

Job Description:
Taste of Home is the world’s leading food media brand; we publish four magazines, over 40 special interest recipe collections for sale at retail and grocery stores each year, dozens of cookbooks-hardback and spiral bound, and we host over 300 local cooking schools around the country each year.
Taste of Home is part of the RDA Food & Entertaining Affinity, the first and only media community designed to unify the voices and experience of everyday cooks and home entertainers.
The Taste of Home Marketing Director will:
· Act as liaison with Taste of Home Media Group to develop consistent and effective marketing materials for advertising programs and cooking school sponsorships.
· Manage the flow of work for Taste of Home projects: promotional pages, sell sheets, media kits, presentations, and collateral material for events.
· Manage RFP’s and custom programs for advertisers, brainstorm with staff to develop ideas, coordinate resources and people for proposals and program extensions.
· Manage day-to-day copywriting on select projects such as presentations, proposals, sell sheets, etc. getting necessary approvals and input.
· Work with the RD design team on materials development.
· Work with outside vendors in developing customized marketing programs.
· Work closely with the Food and Entertaining Affinity to develop and execute programs through the Taste of Home title.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years related experience.
· Candidate must be excellent with people and able to coordinate effectively among the New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Milwaukee offices.
· Must be able to juggle a variety of projects and stay on top of timing and project trafficking
· Excellent writing and communication skills required.
· Some travel required
