Technical Analyst - Network

We are not accepting applications or resumes through .Responsible for designing, installing and troubleshooting network systems (including wireless) to be expandable and provide best possible performance to meet the functional objectives of the business.  Involved with the configuration and maintenance of the physical and logical network components.  Assists in the design of the network architecture, designs the network infrastructure, and plans and designs LAN/WAN/Wireless solutions. Performs capacity and resource planning, assessing network risks and contingency planning.  Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of network management software; researching, analyzing and implementing software patches or hardware changes to fix any network deficiencies.  Provides Level 2 support.  Involved in the evaluation of new products and services and managing vendor relations/escalations.  Qualifications:·  Technical certifications a plus (Cisco, Check Point, etc.)·  Minimum of five years as data network technician supporting large network/enterprise wide environments; or equivalent education and experience.·  Advanced level analytical and problem solving skills.·  Expertise with TCP/IP and routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP·  Advanced level ability to configure and support routers and switches (Cisco)·  Administrator level ability with network management tools (CiscoWorks, CA Spectrum, CA ehealth)·  Advanced level ability with remote access solutions (VPNs, dial)·  Experience with firewalls and VPNs (Check Point, Cisco, Nortel).·  Experience configuring IPSec VPNs·  Advanced level ability with DNS/DHCP/IP Address Management·  Advanced level ability with authentication systems (RADIUS, LDAP, AD).·  Experience configuring and supporting load balancers (Cisco, F5 Networks)·  Experience configuring and supporting wireless networks (Cisco)·  Advanced level knowledge of data network security mechanisms including access lists, firewall functions IPS/IDS, and encryption methodologies.·  Experience with structured cable plant design.·  Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills·  Dedicated and self-motivated team player.·  Able to thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.·  Excellent customer services skills. We are committed to diversity and the strength it brings to the workplace.  R.H.
