Technician

We are seeking to fill a Technician position to set-up and refurbish copiers, faxes and MFD's. Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:

-Perform machine set-ups on new copiers, faxes and MFD's as required.

-Perform refurbishing of pre-owned copiers, faxes, and MFD's as required.

-Ability to successfully communicate with Dispatch and Service Management regarding personal activities and to meet schedules.

-Back up Technician Help desk and Inventory Control Personnel as required.

-Provide technical support for delivery personnel for equipment problems at point of delivery.

This position requires significant visual effort and involves assignments requiring significant levels of concentration. Also, this position requires daily lifting of equipment and accessories weighing up to 50 lbs, stooping and bending, use of hand tools, and working with and around electrical equipment up to 70 percent of the time each work week.

The ideal candidate should have a high school degree plus technical training in electronics or an electro-mechanical field. Some experience with office equipment setup, installation, or repair is preferred for this position, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This individual must demonstrate customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to concentrate on quality of service. Additionally, the individual must present themselves in a professional manner and be able to interface with personnel at all levels of the organization.
