Merion Publications Inc. is the company behind the popular ADVANCE Healthcare Shop featuring apparel, accessories, gifts and more, customized for today’s healthcare professionals. We carry more than 4,000 products for over 50 medical and allied healthcare specialties. All work for the Healthcare Shop is done in-house – from product selection, Web development, marketing, customer service and warehousing, all the way to fulfillment.
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the management and organization of daily warehouse operations through order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, labeling and stocking new inventory.
Responsibilities:
Manage warehouse staff and workflowManage all warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, stocking, returns processing, vendor returns, product decoration (embroidery, sublimation printing, etc.), event shipments and inventory controlReview and modify warehouse workflow and operations to achieve better efficiencyUpdating and maintenance of daily administrative reportsOther warehouse administrative duties assigned by the Director
Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a fulfillment/ warehouse environmentPrior management experience preferredBachelors degree preferred, but not a requirementMust be able to repetitively lift packages weighing up to 45 lbPC literate with intermediate level Microsoft Office skillsAttention to detailGood oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and with others in a fast paced environmentKnowledge of warehouse picking, shipping, packing and receiving procedures
