Web Application Programmer

POSITION: Web Applications Programmer

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and up to 2 years Web Application experience including software development, installation and modification in an online environment. Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, SQL, XSL, XSLT and Oracle. Ability to research and analyze application issues and develop and implement solutions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal physical demands associated with working in an office environment and prolonged computer use.

DUTIES:

- Develops, maintains and supports applications for the organization's Internet /Intranet sites.

- Acquires and analyses application requirements.

- Programs and documents all of selected components of Web Applications.

- Develops automation techniques to enable end-user content publishing.

- Tests and implements mapped graphic images, forms and HTML pages.

- Handles client browser support inquiries.

- Maintains links to external sites and accuracy on internal links while ensuring up-to-date information.

- Researches, evaluates and recommends new internet tools and applications.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
