eMarketing Manager

We have an immediate position available for an eMarketing Manager who will be responsible for managing many of Boston Globe Media’s integrated marketing initiatives.

 

Job duties include:Collaborating with Copywriters and Marketing Managers to create sales-generating, brand-promoting, effective e-marketing material for online mediaProducing high quality, effective design solutions for B2B and B2C Marketing and Merchandising online emails and e-marketing needsActively participating in creative reviews, developing credibility with business partnersPrepping HTML files, QC, testing, and deployment of all B2B and B2C Globe email marketing campaignsFacilitating strategic business decisions around email marketing practices & technical infrastructureWorking collaboratively with Marketing Managers to improve email marketing strategy/contact frequency/testingCreating and managing an efficient workflow process that ensures on-time delivery given the benchmarked time and tools needed to accomplish jobReporting/analysis of all Globe web ad performance (using OAS to run reports)

 

Qualifications needed:At least five years of web and interactive experience – previous experience managing email campaigns is a MUST!Knowledge of email licensing software a strong plusKnowledge of marketing and advertising design practices and principlesWeb/Graphic design proficiencyKnowledge of Adobe CS2/3, Photoshop, ImageReady, In-Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and HTMLKnowledge of CSS and cross platform issues, and of web browser limitations
