AGENT SUPPORT TRAINER
Marcus & Millichap is the nation's largest Investment Real Estate Brokerage firm, with over 40 offices nationwide. The West Los Angeles (CA) office is currently seeking a Agent Support Trainer. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Agent Support trainer provides administrative support and responsibilities to Sales Agents and management of the Regional Office(s). We are looking for someone who will provide the best support for our Agents/office and holds the initiative to go the extra mile. This is not a position for someone who wants to become an agent. Specific Responsibilities: • Design mailing campaigns. • Train and Mentor agent and agent assistants.• Create correspondence, marketing proposals, contracts, presentations and marketing materials. • Plan and coordinate office events for clients and agents• Manage property activity, post daily status. • Navigate Marcus & Millichap and vendor software programs for data entry requirements, including creating maps, demographics and extracting photos. • Send and receive information via email and Marcus & Millichap network.• Be the “go to” person for all software applications . Be part of a team responsible for:• Use of postage machine and post office requirements for daily mail distribution/processing. • Light facility maintenance and problem solving. • Maintain cleanliness of office, kitchen, conference rooms, etc.• Restock office/kitchen supplies as needed.• Daily telephone/switchboard console relief per guidelines• Perform other duties as assigned. These are only the standard responsibilities of the position. There are many opportunities available, if you choose to pursue them. For example, expanding your marketing skills through aiding in creating marketing materials or building on your leadership skills by holding training sessions for Agents/assistants. Inter-Departmental Relationships It is critical that the individual in this position be able to maintain a team/support atmosphere, be able to develop strong working relations with Sales Agents and staff with diverse personalities, as well as the desire to be challenged and accountable for services provided. Required Knowledge and/or Experience • Strong knowledge of MS Office 2003/XP (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to act professionally and courteously • Self motivated, detail oriented and organized. • Desires to be challenged and accountable for services provided. • Maintain confidentiality, work well under pressure and open to diverse personalities. • Desires to be part of the team• “Can Do” Positive Attitude • Type 65+ WPM. • College degree highly preferred.
