AMERICAS DIRECTOR OF OCCUPIER RESEARCH

We are currently seeking anAmericas Director of Occupier Research to join our office located in Chicago, IL, or in another metropolitan area. AMERICAS DIRECTOR OF OCCUPIER RESEARCH - Chicago, IL Responsibilities: Report to the Americas Director of Research and be part of the Americas Research leadership committee Be accountable to senior level executives to vet research topics and output and ensure alignment with the business and value for clients Direct client presentations and project work, as well as public speaking opportunities at industry conferences and client events Develop the strategy and plan for all planned occupier research products and manage the content and production of Americas occupier research deliverables Maintain essential communication with senior business leaders to ensure alignment with the business and client interests and with the firm's strategic priorities Collaborate with local market researchers and experts throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific for regional and global output Analyze occupier trends and develop thought-leadership topics through collaboration with subject matter experts in Corporate Solutions, Strategic Consulting, Tenant Representation, Corporate Capital Markets, and elsewhere within Research Present research findings to clients, press, and at industry events Respond to, prioritize, and complete specific regional occupier client requests Collaborate with marketing/PR on research distribution strategy and high quality media coverage Develop analytical approaches and new occupier research products Manage some current third party information suppliers and review new resources Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related field required and graduate degree is preferred Minimum of 6+ years in commercial real estate research or closely related field Development, implementation and management of complex research programs and projects Proven analytical skill set with experience setting research strategy and methodology Extensive research report writing experience Solid understanding of macro and micro real estate market trends and ability to interpret the future impact or trends on clients Significant experience presenting directly to clients and senior business leaders Strong project management, coordination and leadership skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong presentation skills Motivated and self-starting with a desire to succeed and contribute to the success of a team Highest degree of professionalism and integrity and an unswerving commitment to client service Excellent client management capabilities and ability to properly set internal and external client expectations and ensure delivery of superior research results Desire to work within a diverse, collaborative and driven professional environment Start a lasting career with Jones Lang LaSalle today!
