AR SUPERVISOR

We are currently seeking an AR Supervisor to join our office located in Chicago, IL. AR SUPERVISOR - Chicago, IL Responsibilities: Ensure the accounts receivable objectives and metrics are met - oversee maintenance and research on AR over 30 days past due Ensure that invoicing and cash application is prepared timely and meet all deadlines in Service Level Agreement Supervise and manage employment decisions for 5+ direct reports Training, development, and monitoring performance of staff; drafting and administering performance reviews Oversight and quality control of cash application processes for receipts remitted through lockbox and wire transfers Cooperative team attitude while able to work with minimal supervision. Work closely with business unit accountants and other corporate employees in a professional and team-oriented environment Maintain internal control processes and standards and ensure the compliance of the team Provide support in the resolution of client collection issues, disputes, and researching other related issues Conduct bi-weekly departmental meetings with AR staff to discuss and resolve any AR issues Ensure that AR reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate manner Mindset for process improvement that adjusts to changing business needs Ensures compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle internal accounting policies Respond to any inquiries whether by e-mail or telephone within 24 hours Requirements: Minimum of 10+ years related experience Prior supervision experience Strong analytical and organizational skills Attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks Strong communication skills Computer proficiency using Microsoft Excel Prior PeopleSoft experience is a plus Start a lasting career with Jones Lang LaSalle today!
