Acquisitions Specialist

Southwest Alliance of Asset Managers, LLC provides management and marketing services to the United  States Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) single-family program in Texas and New Mexico.  We are seeking an Acquisitions Specialist.

Basic responsibilities include:Retrieve and entering in cases and critical reports from SAMS Prepare Acquisition forms and entering in cases into home systemCheck for accuracy, emailing to PMC case informationPromote cases that have claims paid by HUD to step 1Correct entries in home system and input other informationPrint log sheets, create files and organize by various casesAssign listing broker according to area for propertyAssist with address issues, filing and appraisal dutiesHandle all GEO rejectsRequest verification from HUD if property is in a revite or are discrepanciesPerform other duties as assigned

Requirements:Prior experience in property management/real estate to include working with titlesWorking knowledge of property regulations and familiarity with mobile homesMust have good verbal and written communication skillsMust have strong, accurate computer skills including Excel, Word and OutlookWillingness to work a flexible schedule if neededMust be detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task in fast paced environmentExposure to HUD and FHA insurance regulations preferredGood customer service and follow up skillsMust be able to pass credit and criminal investigations
