Assistant Manager-Lakeland Place Apts.

Assists the Property Manager with the general administration of the property and performs related management functions with the daily operations of an apartment community.  Cross trained on Property Manager functions and acts in that capacity in the Manager’s absence.  Assists with responsibility of maintaining the physical asset and the performance of the property, to achieve the highest possible net operating income.  Monitors regulatory compliance and company policies and procedures related to property management.
Requirements:
Skills & abilities normally associated with completion of high school or GED equivalency. Knowledge of general business office functions. Good oral, written & interpersonal communication skills. Fair Housing Knowledge HUD (Housing Urban Development) Knowledge or MSHDA Knowledge At least two (2) years of office/clerical work Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Previous Property Management experience Previous Assisted Housing Compliance or related experience Previous HUD or MSHDA file compliance experience Typing Calculators Computers
Preferences:
Ability to work with others and foster an environment of team work. Attention to detail and the ability to work with people with skill and diplomacy Ability to work independently Work well without supervision Ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Other Information:
Overtime may be required.
