Business Analyst

HFF operates out of 18 offices nationwide and is a leading provider of commercial real estate and capital market services to the U.S. commercial real estate industry. HFF offers clients a fully integrated national capital markets platform including debt placement, investment sales, structured finance, private equity, note sales and note sale advisory services and commercial loan servicing.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Accounting team in Pittsburgh, PA.

 

General Duties and Responsibilities

 The Business Analyst will provide assistance to the accounting department in relation to reporting and financial systems support and evaluation.  The position’s primary focus will be on creating standard and ad hoc reports to support the department. 

Other areas of focus:

 Evaluating current system capabilities to determine appropriateness for continued use and recommending best fit solutions for the organizationEvaluating system upgrades prior to implementation and performing system upgrades/maintenance

Education and Experience

 

College degree in Accounting,  IT or commensurate experience required. Strong reporting-writing background and general ledger systems experience required. Good decision making and problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.  Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
