We are currently seeking two full-time Call Center Technicians as well as part-time Technicians to join our Call Center Team. The Call Center Technicians will be responsible for answering all incoming calls and assisting customers with requests received via the web, telephone and personal visits. These requests typically involve level one computer questions such as difficulty logging in or hardware problems. The Call Center Technician is a point of contact with employees, clients, visitors and high level executives. A positive attitude and a professional appearance must be displayed at all times.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical computer questions via telephone and in person, new computer set-up preparation, internal office relocation of computer equipment, maintain user access to the network and email system, inventory control of computer equipment, answer the call center hotline, log in requests via the call center ticket system and dispatch the calls to the appropriate infrastructure team member, assist with the management of call center documentation, light travel to off-site locations and perform other duties and special projects as needed. The Call Center Technician will manage their workload using a web-based work tracking program.
The Call Center Technician must have excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic Help Desk/Call Center environment. The following skills and qualifications are also required:
In-depth knowledge of Windows 2000 & XP Operating Systems and MS Office applications including Outlook is essential.Basic knowledge of procurement ordering, hardware/computer peripherals and Palm/Blackberry equipment as well as an understanding of networking and communications.Must have premier customer service skills and etiquette, strong administrative and organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to keep accurate records and adapt to an ever changing environment. Must possess excellent problem solving skills with the ability to learn new responsibilities quickly.Excellent interpersonal skills with an outgoing and engaging personality.
