CFO and Controller roles available-New York, NY

Young, well capitalized real estate development / private equity firm with impressive portfolio of first class golf resorts and hotels is looking for a CFO. All candidates must have real estate and private equity fund experience as well as CPA certified.

 

Responsibilities include:Analyzing all fund level financial statements  Prepare and review quarterly and annual reports to investors. Review offering documents, draft partnership agreements and other related contracts to assist capital raising efforts for new Funds. Perform treasury function, including cash management, debt compliance and risk management. Assist in the coordination and preparation of Fund Valuations and Property Valuations as required Manage consolidated budgets and forecasts as well as prepare Annual Fund budgets and monthly/quarterly reports. Coordinate contributions from and distributions to Investors, including Subsequent Closing Adjustments Analyze Fund performance vs. budget and projections and explain material variances.

Requirements:All candidates must have CPA. MBA preferredSix to eight years experience in real estate and private equity accounting.

Salary ranges up 200k + bonus with long term equity potential in the future.
