Contract Specialist

CoStar is looking for a contract specialist for our Bethesda, MD headquarters. Data entry of customer contracts received from sales, resolution of billing issues, correspondence, reporting and participation in a Call Center. Heavy interaction with the customer, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable and Sales to ensure contracts are entered timely and accurately. Motivated individual must have strong customer service skills and must be able to work independently. Good oral and written communication skills a must.
-Maintain contracts for specific markets.
-Client correspondence related to countersigned agreements, addenda, cancellations and contract resolution.
-Outbound calls to all new clients and clients receiving new products/services
-Participate in Call Center environment for incoming client calls
-Participate in various bill audits of clients invoicing.
-Review and resolve account issues
-Scan all contracts to CRM billing system along with appropriate notes
-Assist with the creation and filing of client files
-Assist with a special billing project (i.e. - Advertising, Advisory, Corporate Billing....)
-Complete related reporting action items (i.e., reversal report, account statements, market totals, credit/debit account adjustment form
-Assist in identification of system and software issues as they occur, to Team Lead or Supervisor
-Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of CoStar's terminology and all CoStar's products and services
-Participate in Team meetings to share information
-Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualified candidate will have two (2) years related experience in accounting, finance and/or customer service environment. Degree in Accounting or related field. Working knowledge of Excel and Word required. Strong Oral and written communications skills a must.
