Job Title: Critical Environment Manager

Job Summary: EMCOR Facilities Services has an immediate need for a Critical Environment Manager in Glen Allen, Va who will be responsible for the maintenance of the critical environments including mechanical and electrical.  The Critical Environment Manager will supervise internal technicians and external vendors to ensure critical equipment such as UPS, generator, and cooling equipment is maintained and repaired properly. The Critical Environment’s Manager will respond to emergency situations and perform tasks necessary to protect property and occupants and maintain the mission critical operating environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be knowledgeable of: maintenance strategies, raised floor environments, generator systems, electrical switch gear and UPS systems and some HVAC systems. Should be adept at developing maintenance scopes and action plans, conducting walk throughs and developing implementation plans.

Experience with HVAC and mechanical equipment, building systems, energy management to the point where they can provide retrofit solutions, discuss these with a variety of customers, Facility Managers, and build a consensus to complete the project.

Must be adept at creating and delivering presentations, understand how to gear essentially the same presentation information to different audiences such as management, customers and engineers.

Qualifications:  Qualified candidate must have 5+ years experience in a Mission Critical Environment as well as management experience. Must have excellent customer service skills with demonstrated strength in responding to, interacting and communicating with a number of different clients/project managers/team leaders.  Must be comfortable in executive situations and in high customer contact situations. Must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in MSOffice.
