Demographic Research Associate II

The nation's fastest-growing national Tenant Representation firm in the Corporate Real Estate Industry is growing its Boston-based Workforce & Location Planning Group (WLPG) to meet the significant increase in client and project activity.  WLPG is looking for someone who is passionate about their work, skilled in workforce, demographics and site selection research, as well as analysis and reporting.  Our national client list is growing and our role is expanding with current and new clients in advising them on where to locate a new business unit or re-locate existing units.  Most projects are for major national or regional clients across various industry sectors and we interface with the top levels of management and real estate. 

 

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES Strong analytical skills, intuitive, creative, highly organized and detail-oriented. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment with a positive attitude.   Must be skilled in sourcing demographic and other research efficiently, and, in providing analysis and interpretation of the research, including providing relevant information from varied secondary sources (internal database, public and private databases, and economic development promotion websites) and conducting telephone research to generate first-hand information for use on corporate location projects. A background of creating appealing graphical deliverables and presentations for our clients and prospects is desirable.   Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of the demographics and business location fields. Develop, maintain/update our internal database. Experience in Site Selection and labor demographics is preferred, but not required. 

CREDENTIALS Bachelor's degree - preferably in a demographics, media/research, economics, urban planning or economic development program. 2-4 years of related experience.
