Developer/Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Design technology solutions.Design modules and routines with little supervision.  Design smaller and less sophisticated applications with moderate supervision.Implement data and process models.Evaluate technology components.Work with customers to determine how they will use the system.Develop prototype by specifying use of packages; incorporation of sharable components; interfaces with other systems; changes to legacy systems; and new development components.

Prepare, test and issue system releases.Write code in their core NRT product(s) with moderate supervision.Install, set up, and configure databases, programs, and other components.Create interfaces to other systems, including changes to legacy systems.Acquire and assemble components.Prepare and test system releases.Develop documentation.Test release and conduct acceptance reviews with customer.

Plan delivery of technology solutions.Develop and implement test and deployment plans.Establish delivery environment, including review of business needs and customer expectations.Participate in rollout and fix introduction problems.

Monitor impact of system releases.Measure impacts of new system against requirements.Implement countermeasures for surprises and negative results.Identify potential improvements and plan next release.Work with customers to ensure satisfaction with new system.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years in software development utilizing various Microsoft technologies.  These include C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, XSLT, SQL Server, and various others.
