DIRECTOR, BUSINESS AND EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATIONS The Director, Business and Employee Communications, will work with Executive management on gathering, messaging and delivering internal employees a consistent voice as it relates to The Company’s vision, initiatives, corporate events and culture. S/he will also assist Executives in prioritizing communication of initiatives, facilitate the cascading of necessary information throughout the organization, and helping to drive consistency of message as well as employee involvement. The Director, Business and Employee Communications will facilitate strategic multi-faceted employee communications and internal marketing programs designed to champion Bare Escentuals’ voice. Primary Responsibilities Will work collaboratively with Executives on driving strategy re: “the voice” of Bare Escentuals and internal communications Assist with the development (strategy & creative) of company-wide communications campaigns/programs to help drive consistent employee messaging that will promote the achievement of business goals and employee engagement while meeting high standards. Writes, edits and proof-reads original correspondence, along with other employee communication deliverables, including but not limited to organizational announcements, news stories for publication, and other HR-related communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy, clarity, appropriateness and a “corporate voice”. Liaise with HR partners to coordinate, align messages and share best practices in employee communications. Build and foster collaborative relationships with other departments to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives to identify opportunities to develop communication materials and programs. Manage various monthly employee recognition programs. Establish processes and tools to efficiently gather, document and analyze the effectiveness of employee communications through measurement tools. Job Qualifications Bachelors degree in Communications, Human Resources, Marketing or related discipline History of working with top Executives on communications plans a must 8 yeas progressive communications experience preferred Strong writing, editing, grammar, public presentation and project management skills. Must be extremely organized, proactive, flexible, collaborative, a good communicator with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills Must possess the ability to excel in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. Ability to work in a team environment providing excellent customer service to internal customers. A desire to explore new opportunities and have fun in the process.
