Director, Strategic Acquisitions

Position Description:

Manage the assumption process by gathering market information including rental rates, operating costs and investment sales. Maintain a network of resources to keep information current. Draft purchase offers and manage contract negotiations. Coordinate repositioning of existing assetsIdentify and evaluate strategic re capture opportunities. Maintain resources and relationships for development/construction costs and operations.Train and review work product analysts.Assist in directing all activities related to closing purchase transaction including interacting with all parties to transaction; I.e. title company, seller and sellers agent, legal team.Coordination of acquisition for mixed use development projects within other divisions of the company. Liaison between Finance and Development.Additional Qualifications: 7-8 years of real estate experience with emphasis in acquisition analysis and Finance.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Argus and Dyna.Superior analytical, organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.Proven ability to handle multiple tasks. Experience with active real estate investor, investment company, or development company.Experience in multiple real estate segments including retail.Experience with title reports and related issues.Experience in real estate deal structures, tax, and financing strategy.

Qualifications:

Ten to fifteen years of relevant work experience. Management experience required. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate required.
