Position -On-Site: Director of Sales

Purpose -

To recruit, hire, and train Sales Professionals and Sales Managers on company values, processes, and selling system for The Settings Development Company. To help direct all sales related activities within each development to achieve maximum sales volume.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sales People, Sales Plan, Execution and Evaluation.Generate the maximum number of sales possible by interviewing and hiring the most qualified sales people to work in each community. Recruit and retain the most talented Sales Professionals.
Develop a measure of progress with an evaluation program for the community and Sales Team.

2. TrainingAdminister a one week sales training program with each new sales employee. Continually conduct sales training in all sales meetings, outside seminars and other necessary training opportunities. Conduct one-on-one sales training with the Sales Team.

3. MotivateHelp each individual sales person to maximize his or her potential with positive and exciting training programs, supportive one on one meetings and general accessibility to support as needed. Develop exciting promotions and incentive program – i.e. Phone - a thons, incentives and contests.

4. EvaluateMake sure each Sales Person is video shopped at least once a year. Monitor the sales by the Sales Person to insure minimum sales are maintained. Monitor the condition of all communities making sure they meet or exceed the company standards.

5. Sales ManagementDevelop and monitor the sales plan and take necessary steps to insure the plan is achieved. Conduct effective sales meetings and training programs for each community weekly.

6. Human Resource ManagementEstablish and monitor performance goals/standards. Evaluate performance and provide feedback to subordinates and Management. Provide performance counseling as needed. Identify training needs and provide appropriate training. Determine staffing levels required and hire/select effective staff.

Compensation$75K Base salary plus 1% override bonus on community sales performance and 1% bonus on quarterly goals.
