EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR

Reports to: Marketing Director Major Function: In this part time role, the UTC Experience coordinator will act as an ambassador for Westfield UTC by actively engaging customers within the UTC Experience and encouraging them to learn more about the revitalization of Westfield UTC. The UTC Experience is an on-site interactive gallery and lounge that gives customers an opportunity to see what Westfield has planned for the revitalization of Westfield UTC. Responsibilities: a) Be able to present information to customers including an overview of the UTC Experience and the revitalization of Westfield UTC and answer questions. b) Direct customers through the UTC Experience, encourage them to participate in interactive activities and sign-up to learn more about the New UTC. c) Working with the Marketing Director, assist with execution of special events that may include children’s activities, concerts, community presentations, retailer meetings and business mixers. d) Coordinate logistics of events with other appropriate departments and staff (i.e., Housekeeping, Security, Engineering, etc.) e) Handle client and customer complaints in an effective, timely and professional manner. f) Maintain the YOUTC TV website, which includes daily review of videos and key word tagging g) Create and maintain accurate and organized files. Skills/Work Experience Requirements: a) Possess strong presentation skills to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences. b) Requires an experienced public contact person able to consistently maintain enthusiasm and project a positive and professional company image c) Capable of acting independently as required which includes being able to prioritize, demonstrate sound judgment and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing d) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail e) Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, holidays and nights. f) Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook g) Physical effort requirements: Involves walking and standing for several hours in an outdoor environment.
