Discover the leading team dedicated to helping more Americans achieve their dreams.* As ranked for 2006 by Inside Mortgage Finance (Feb. 2, 2007)© 2007.Fair Lending Specialist Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Providing support for regression projects by reviewing loan files, and assisting with the gathering of relevant data (policies, rate sheets, etc.) and other duties as assigned.·  Monitoring fair lending training participation, including generation of monthly tracking reports.  Providing assistance in the maintenance of the training materials and test and development of new materials.·  Providing support with the Mystery Shopping projects as needed (review of training materials, data tables, and draft reports).·  Providing support on other fair lending monitoring projects such as CLUES Uplift, High FICO, and other targeted reviews.  Assisting with gathering and preparation of information for any regulatory examinations.·  Assisting in preparation of Fair Lending materials and reports for divisional compliance committee meetings.  Following up on action items as assigned. A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent·  1+ years - Functional·  Solid knowledge of fair lending regulations and comprehensive data analysis  ·  Experience with data analysis and report writing ·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills·  5+ years work experience in mortgage banking with at least 1 + years involved in CRA and / or fair lending·  Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Lotus Notes (or other e-mail software), and CRA Wiz or Claritas A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Urban Studies, or a related degree·  Experience with CLUES, DU, LP or other automated underwriting programs  ·  Regulatory agency experience ·  MS Access experience  Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
