Financial Reporting Accountant

We are a dynamic, growing Commercial Real Estate Investment Company in Orange County, CA and we currently have an opportunity for a Financial Reporting Accountant. The Financial Reporting Accountant will be a CPA who has an interest in an Entrepreneurial Corporate setting and is looking to make a significant contribution to the corporation’s functional and organizational development.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

·  Assist in the preparation of 1-2 SEC filings including 10Q, 10K and 8K

·  Work with auditors in their review of the financial statements and SEC filings

·  Perform consolidation accounting

·  Be involved with the review of special transactions

·  Interact with internal auditors

·  Assist with ad hoc reporting and other special projects; including developing policies and procedures and SOX documentation

 

Required Skills:

·  Big 4 CPA with 2-4 years of related experience

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

·  SEC reporting experience

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·  Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

·  Ability to work well under pressure
