Internal Auditor

American Campus Communities is seeking a highly motivated individual to support our Internal Auditor. Responsibilities include developing audit plans; conducting internal audits; verifying company compliance with standards, policies and procedures; and compiling audit findings and recommending revisions to systems and procedures.  Qualifications include 3 to 7 years of internal audit or public accounting experience; an ability to gather, analyze and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports; degree in accounting or finance; CPA or CIA preferred; and knowledge of SOX, GAAP and SEC Regulations.
