Lead SAP Security Analyst

A Global Recruiting Firm has an immediate need for a Lead SAP Security Analyst. The role will have 2 core functions:

1)  Supervision of the SAP Security Team to provide operational support for the business.

2)  Developing and Implementing policy, processes, architecture, training and communications.

The Lead SAP Security Analyst is expected to integrate with peers throughout the company to share and solicit input to the SAP Security Vision, as well as align  SAP Security functions with business requirements.

 

Core Responsibilities:

Strategy and PlanningDevelop and maintain the SAP Security Architecture.Develop and maintain the SAP Security Documentation (policies, processes, procedures, standards, etc.)Develop and maintain the Disaster Recovery Plan as it pertains to SAP Security.Develop and maintain SAP Security Road Map, Staffing Plan and Skill Gap Analysis.

Acquisition and DeploymentMaintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP Security Industry including new or revised SAP Security solutions, improved SAP Security processes, and new developments in the SAP GRC Arena.Research, select and recommend SAP Security Tool set and process improvements.Oversee the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new SAP Security solutions, process enhancements, and enhancements to the current security solution in accordance with the enterprise’s security policy, processes, procedures, standards, and best practices.

 

Operational ManagementEnsure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information at rest and in motion thru out the enterprise’s SAP Landscape.  Work with other parties to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information at rest and in motion residing in 3rd party or in-house systems directly interfacing with the SAP Landscape.Ensure the enforcement and compliance of IT Security and SAP Security Documents as they pertain to the SAP Landscape.Supervise SAP Security Team Staff.Supervise the design and execution of 3rd party SAP Security Assessments.Supervise the design and execution of SAP Security Awareness Training.Interface and engage peers thru out the enterprise to increase SAP Security Awareness, solicit feedback and recommendations, and foster co-operation.

 

Qualifications:Bachelor degree or five years of related work experiencePrevious experience with IT Security or SAP SecurityPrevious experience managing staff of 1 to 5 individualsSarbanes-Oxley knowledgeAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work in integrated team situationsHighly self motivated and directed.Strong communication and presentation skills at all organization levelsStrong prioritization and decision making skillsAttention to detailAbility to conduct research into IT security issues and products as required Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
