Leasing Consultant-Residential
Must possess a positive customer service attitude and maintains a professional, friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas where residents and prospective residents meet.
· Inspects models and “market ready” vacancies daily to ensure cleanliness.
· Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call accordingly.
· Welcomes and shows property to prospective new residents.
· Maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends. Contributes ideas to the manager for marketing property and for improving resident satisfactions.
· Conducts regular market surveys and provides trend report information.
· Keep information updated on vacancy/availability status.
· Takes work orders and works with maintenance staff.
· Completes all lease renewal paperwork and follow-up.
· Inspects move-ins, move-outs and vacancies.
· Assists manger in preparation of daily and weekly reports, resident communications, move-out inventory, market surveys, etc.
· Maintains constant communication with residents regarding company, social events, etc.
· Participates in creation and distribution of property newsletter.
