Job Title:  Maintenance Technician 2

Job Summary: Building Technology Engineers has an immediate need for a Maintenance Technician 2 in Boston, MA.  This position will be responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs and efficient operation of all HVAC systems, supervise maintenance employees and other duties as requested by Lead Maintenance Technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Start-up and secure all equipment in designated buildings Perform all maintenance of plumbing, electric, basic carpentry, steam systems, specialty items such as doors, locks, door closures, furniture or other general mechanical or electrical work. Answer trouble calls Perform preventative maintenance work in its entirety, including repairing and maintaining the necessary records consistent with the maintenance system in the building Make periodic building rounds to check all HVAC equipment and keep accurate log sheets

Qualifications:  Minimum seven 3-6 years direct experience in commercial office building operations and maintenance Possess a MA Refrigeration Trainee License and must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License Strong potential knowledge of commercial HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment Proven ability to read, interpret and work from blue prints, schematics, diagrams, etc. Proven knowledge of current issues relating to building operations and maintenance, including CFC, IAQ, etc. Current state issued Drivers License
