MARKETING MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE:

This individual will be responsible for creating and managing Reis’s business-to-business marketing strategy.  Specifically, this individual will work with internal teams to assess Reis’s marketing needs, identify marketing opportunities, develop and execute marketing campaigns that will increase revenue and manage all marketing related budgets. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, execute and monitor Reis’s marketing strategy by identifying marketing opportunities including, but not limited to, print and online initiatives and industry events.  Analyze market trends and potential marketing opportunities.  Understand competitive landscape and create marketing initiatives that continue to position Reis as an industry leader.  Understand market drivers/issues and current/future goals to influence plans and positioning strategies.Work with internal departments including market development, product management, and sales to utilize data that will help increase revenue through marketing initiatives.Analyze effectiveness of marketing programs and develop testing and targeting strategies for improving campaign effectiveness.Participate in the development of tools to survey decision makers on effectiveness/quality of past efforts. Solicit feedback for future actions.Deliver marketing programs that are considered 'best practices'; share across marketing organization. Apply learnings from other programs and initiatives (internal and external) to enhance quality and effectiveness.Manage all event marketing including overseeing all logistics, vendor management, and budget management.  Track all revenue associated with B2B tradeshows and events.  Manage and track all expenses associated with corporate marketing events.Maintain and track overall marketing budget.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Proven success in developing tracking systems to monitor campaign effectivenessExperience with direct marketing techniques, both online and using traditional mediaHigh level of creativityPrevious management experience and demonstrated leadership abilityProactive, detail oriented, flexible, and able to multi-task.  Strong organizational skills, including project and budget management experience.Solid Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field Preferable Education Requirement: Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field Minimum Experience Requirement: Five years of successful business to business marketing experience Preferable Experience Requirement: 6+ years of successful business to business marketing experience in information services
