Mortgage Processor/Senior Loan Analyst

Trident is the nation's second-largest REALTOR-affiliated mortgage company, securing approximately $2 billion in mortgage financing annually for homebuyers in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Trident Mortgage Company is seeking an experienced Mortgage Processor/Senior Loan Analyst for the Devon, Pennsylvania office.

The Mortgage Processor/Senior Loan Analyst is responsible for the smooth and timely processing of various loan programs with emphasis on loan integrity, customer service and sales support.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

· Contacts borrowers via telephone, e-mail and mail to obtain mortgages stipulations and update customers on the loan progress.

·  Reviews documents from applicants to determine if they comply with underwriting requirements.

·  Reviews appraisal reports, flood and termite certifications to determine if the collateral meets investor requirements.

·  Submits loans through automated underwriting systems (DU/LP) and reviews findings to determine documentation requirements.

·  Prepares files for submission to DE underwriter or delegated underwriter as necessary.

·  Maintains accurate data in E3.

·  Orders mortgage insurance in compliance with company policy.

·  Schedules final inspections with appraisers.

·  Maintains a professional work relationship with mortgage consultants and keeps them informed of loan progress.

·  Contacts third party service providers for various loan stipulations as necessary to meet product and investor requirements.

·  Understands office goals as set by management and assists in meeting those goals.

·  Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

·  Accepts and performs assignments varying in size and scope, as well as other duties as assigned.

 

RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is recommended.  Ability to read and interpret real estate, banking, credit and mortgage documents and procedure manuals.Must have knowledge of MS Office including, Email, Excel, Word and Internet.
