Mortgage Sales Manager

We are an inbound call center generating over 5,500 calls a month from people looking to refinance. We have in house FHA underwriters who are aggressive and very good at manual underwriting decisions.  In the April of 2008 we are relocating to our larger state of the art facility in Plano, Texas and will have room for up to 150 Loan Originators.

We are currently seeking a Sales Manager's for our Call Center located at our corporate headquarters in Plano, TX.  The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of 10 – 12 Loan Officers, plus all operational aspects the Team, including recruiting, hiring, training, and ensuring that loan applications are originated, processed and closed timely.

·  2+ years sales management experience in the mortgage industry.

·  Candidate must have a strong background in processing, underwriting and closing procedures with DU/LP and should possess complete knowledge of Conventional, VA, FHA guidelines and other loan products.

·  Must be familiar with RESPA, TILA, ECOA, HMDA, FCRA, privacy laws, Fair Lending practices and mortgage law.

·  Excellent sales training, customer service, negotiation, presentation and written/verbal communication skills are essential.

·  A college degree is preferred but not required.
