Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC provides debt and equity financing for multifamily and commercial real estate. A national lender, Arbor is headquartered on Long Island in Uniondale, New York, and has additional offices in the United States, including New York City.

 Arbor has built a reputation as a proven performer within the mortgage banking industry by providing conventional lending resources through Fannie Mae, FHA and CMBS programs. Arbor also combines traditional mortgage lending practices with innovative investment strategies to offer structured banking services of mezzanine and bridge debt, participations and note acquisitions.

 

Arbor’s New York City office has an immediate opening for an Analyst.  In this position the Analyst will organize and analyze loan requests. The Analyst will review loan documentation (rent rolls, operating statements and other financial exhibits) to propose financing options using Arbor's various loan products. The Analyst will be responsible for entering operating data and pricing information in Excel models.  The Analyst will also produce Term Sheets and Application Letters based on the approved financing option.

 The qualified candidate should have a Bachelors degree in finance or a related discipline, have a familiarity with the terms and concepts of real estate finance and have a minimum of 1 year work experience in a real estate related field or in mortgage banking/finance.  Previous multifamily loan processing, analysis and/or underwriting experience are a plus.

 Candidates should possess strong analytical, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills.  Moderate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is required.  Some travel is required.
