Operations Manager-Wiregrass

Supervises maintenance personnel, housekeeping and all other day-to-day operations and facilities maintenance of a retail shopping center. Interface with retail merchants and contractors. Ability to hire, train, discipline, review and oversee the work of others. Ability to develop and understand an operating budget for the operations of the center and to track the performance against the budget throughout the budget year. Capability to set, maintain and enforce the standard of performance set forth by Senior Management. Self motivated individual able to handle both routine and complex problems, developing ways to solve them while maintaining operating expenses. Should be able to perform general and advanced maintenance duties. Able to accurately create job specifications and successfully bid projects as well as develop contracts.



Requirements:
Knowledge of all areas of mechanical and facilities maintenance. Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience demonstrating the ability to lead both contract and in-house personnel. Aptitude with all general maintenance equipment (pressure washers, lifts, power tools, etc.) Ability to use a PC for email and proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong understanding for electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.



Preferences:
College or trade school degree. Formal training or on the job experience in property management/operations.



Other Information:
Must be flexible and willing to work overtime. This position requires considerable walking and standing.
