Title: Real Estate Portfolio Analyst
Overview: The position’s objective is to ensure that the Portfolio Management and Investor Reporting operations of the firm’s real estate equity portfolios are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Financial operations include, but are not limited to, portfolio performance reporting, Fund cash flows, asset valuations, monitoring of third party management reporting, and capital/investment funding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with asset managers to regularly maintain cash flow projections for each fund, ensuring the accuracy of all information thereinAssist with creation of internal semi-annual presentations that includes detailed updates on each investment. Asset managers are responsible for updating their reports and projections for each of their investments, while the Portfolio Analyst is responsible for editing and coordinating these reports as well as updating the fund projectionsPrepare and maintain internal reports and schedules including:Schedule of Investments, funding trackers for new investments and capital calls, partnership cash flow projections, as well as tracking capital calls and distributions to investorsReview of investment level valuation support for annual auditsComplete quarterly lender reporting packagesAbstract legal documents on investments and borrowingsProvide support to the heads of Portfolio Management, Asset Management, and the CEO by assisting with the creation of other internal projections and analysis as needed
Qualifications

Education and or Experience
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Accounting is preferred
1-2 years of relevant experience
Technical Skills or Abilities
Proficient in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and WordProblem solving and analytical skills requiredKnowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in real estate financeAbility and desire to work independentlyAbility to communicate (orally and written) in a professional manner when dealing with the accounting department, real estate managers, and operating partners
