Job Title: Refrigeration Technician

Job Summary: Building Technology Engineers has an immediate need for a Refrigeration Technician in Waltham, MA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reports to and assists MCLP, start-up and secure all equipment Assist with structural trades, answer trouble calls, complete PM’s records Assist in maintaining plumbing and electrical systems, basic carpentry, steam systems, and specialty items such as doors, locks, furniture, and other general mechanical or electrical devices as required Make periodic building rounds to check all HVAC equipment and keep accurate log sheets as required

Qualifications:  Qualified candidates must have 3-6 years of direct experience in commercial building operations and maintenance, central plant/chiller, energy management, electrical, emergency power systems, general repairs, package units, pneumatic controls, water treatment and fire life safety. Universal CFC and MA Refrigeration License required. Must have knowledge of commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Must be able to perform basic carpentry, painting, able to work off ladders and lift 100 lbs. Ability to read and utilize blueprints, schematics, and diagrams desired.
