SENIOR TAX ANALYST

TAX ANALYST – $65k-$80k + Bonus Potential (DOE)

Detail of responsibilities and opportunities to learn:


- Prepare federal and state returns for multi-state corporations and partnerships. 


- Prepare quarterly income tax estimates for corporations and withholding calculations on partner distributions for states. 


- Prepare E&P annually.


- Prepare debt allocations for partnerships.


- Calculate tax basis and depreciation of assets. 


- Assist in gain/loss calculations. 


- Respond to notices from various taxing jurisdictions.


- Maintain capital accounts for partnerships.


- Perform tax research for federal and state issues.


- Learn, learn and learn some more.


Qualifications:
2+ years of tax experience in a large company, CPA firm or equivalentBS/BA degree in AccountingPartnership experience (preferably in real-estate)Strong analytical skillsDesire to learn and be challengedComputer Skills Preferred:  InSource for tax preparation, CCH for research, MS Office applications, JD Edwards and Business Objects.
