Broder & Sachse Real Estate Services was created in 1993 to acquire, develop, and manage a balanced portfolio of real estate product types in Michigan. We currently provide property management and related services to a diverse portfolio of over 70 properties and over 8 million square feet of space. We also provide SOS! Property Maintenance Services to over 100 locations, nationwide construction management services for local to international companies, as well as acquisition and development services.

We seek a Sales/Business Development Manager to establish new business relationships, locally and nationally, through targeted sales efforts that generate immediate revenue and profitability for the company. The ideal candidate will report to the Vice President.
Key responsibilities include:
q Prospecting and cold calling both in person and via telephone to develop leads; qualifying leads into prospects; and developing prospects into clients
q Service and develop additional business opportunities within current customer base
q Maintains personal performance and contact information including contact database, activity reporting and sales forecasts
q Meet with Vice President on a regular basis to communicate business/sales opportunities and customer/client service priorities
q Create and deliver sales presentations
q Meet all minimum requirements for sales/business development goals
q Collaborate with Vice President and implement the design and creation of compelling and highly targeted marketing materials
Job requirements
q Proven new business development/sales experience and strong client services background; 2+ years experience required
q A solid working knowledge of real estate management practices
q Relevant real estate experience (commercial and multifamily) in acquisitions, asset/portfolio management, and/or real estate finance
q BA/BS degree required in a related field
q Effective interpersonal, communication and listening skills; strong writing skills; ability to undertake detailed analyses and make well-reasoned, decisive recommendations to senior management
q Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and complete task successfully
q Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
q Must have a and maintain a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation
