Prime Group Realty Trust is a real estate investment trust that owns, manages and leases office properties in the metropolitan Chicago area.  We currently have an opening for a Senior Cash Analyst at our Corporate office located in the Loop.

 

The Senior Cash Analyst reports directly to Treasurer and is responsible for the review and initiation of approved wire transfers; daily and monthly reconciliation and reporting of cash balances to senior management; monitoring of bank reports/bank account balances and resolving discrepancies with management and bank representatives; reconciling disbursement data between general ledger and bank reports; assisting Treasurer with preparation of data for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements including budgets and cash forecasting models; processing and review of loan documents and escrow statements; preparing and posting journal entries, preparing and making physical bank deposits and maintaining filing system; and other duties as needed and assigned by Treasurer.

 

This position requires a person with solid organizational and analytical skills. Must possess accounting, finance or related degree and have one to three years’ prior cash management experience.  Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with company information and adhere to departmental and company policies and procedures is essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel required, knowledge of JD Edwards accounting software preferred.
