Senior Developer/Architect- BizBuySell ( San Francisco or Marin)

BizBuySell is seeking a highly motivated individual to be a Senior Developer/Architect in our San Francisco or Marin office. You will be integral in architecting and implementing the next generation of the BizBuySell technology platform. If you are looking for a chance to move from the role of developer to architect this is an excellent opportunity to flex your design skills. We are in the process of moving off of our Linux C/C++ CGI platform and onto Microsoft.NET. You will work closely with other senior developers and departments (quality assurance, marketing, client services, and product management) to design and develop new web based products and features. This is a great opportunity for a self motivated "out of the box" thinker!

Requirements:
• Highly proficient in current Microsoft development tools, especially C#, ASP.NET, SQL server and Internet Services
• Experience in C/C++/VC++ (Windows or Linux) highly desirable
• Experience using C/C++ Make, GCC etc for CGI application development running under Red Hat Linux highly desirable
• Experience with Apache and MySQL highly desirable
• 3-5 years experience with internet UI software development (HTML, Javascript, DHTML, CSS, etc)
• Experience with mission critical, high volume (500K page views a day), web-based systems preferred
• Strong computer system analysis and design skills in current methodologies including object oriented programming
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task while working well with a team
• BS degree in computer science or related field
