Here's another great opportunity to join the Burger King team: The Manager, Corporate Finance will offer strategic support to the Business Development, Franchising & Renewals teams within North America, and will be responsible for the valuation, analysis and due diligence of all acquisition/divestment transactions within the BK system. The candidate will report into the SVP Finance & Corporate Controller and will be the key finance point of contact for the Director & Vice President, Business Development. The Manager will also support Business Development in evaluating other strategic opportunities such as re-flag opportunities and various market planning scenarios. The Manager will be expected to: Lead the valuation work for various acquisitions & divestitures Assist Deal leader through financial analysis, negotiation, due diligence and close Perform NPV, IRR and EPS analysis for acquisition/divestiture, and other market scenarios Integrate operational, financial and geographic data to provide comprehensive view of potential deals Improve valuation tool by making it easier to use, more standardized, global and automatic. Take a leadership role in the due diligence process interacting with field franchise teams, operations, business development, legal, HR, accounting, treasury, and planning. Make purchase price recommendations based on objective financial analysis and subjective market conditions Present issues, opportunities, and recommendations to senior management regarding restaurant acquisitions, divestitures and franchisee business restructurings Qualifications The candidate is expected to have great communication skills. Ability to turn around requests and analysis quickly Expected to think on their own not just wait for someone else to ask the questions Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required, Masters of Business Administration preferred or equivalent work experience 2-3 years minimum work experience in financial analysis - investment banking or corporate business development Excellent technical skills and experience in MS Office products. Firm knowledge of accounting and financial analysis concepts, modeling skills and valuation techniques. Problem solving skills and attitude; ability to identify and implement process improvements. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy of work product. Effective influencing and communication skills. Willingness and ability to be a member of a dynamic team and be responsive to the team's needs by transcending their job description when needed.
